- Fish collagen is a natural protein that makes up over 30% of all proteins in the body. It is the basis of connective tissue, bone, hair, skin. More than 28 types of collagen have been identified in the human body. The dominant type of collagen in our skin is type I, which accounts for 85-90%.

- Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) is a plant rich in polyphenols. It contains many valuable vitamins, especially vitamin C, but also A, E and P. It is also a source of minerals such as calcium, potassium, iodine, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and silicon. This makes it a plant which has a positive effect on our immunity.

- Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon Aiton) contain large amounts of fibre, vitamin C, vitamins B1 and B2, and mineral salts such as phosphorus, copper, iodine, calcium, as well as tannins, citric, malic and benzoic acid. The most important group of compounds present in cranberry fruit are polyphenols. They are very helpful in elimination of free radicals, which contribute to increased ageing processes in the body.

- Elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) is a valuable source of polyphenolic compounds, mainly flavonols, phenolic acids, proanthocyanidins and anthocyanins.

- Vitamin D3 is an organic chemical compound from the vitamin D group, it is fat-soluble. It is responsible for bone mineralisation and the normal development of the skeletal system. Vitamin D3 is essential for the proper functioning of the nervous, immune and muscular systems. It also regulates the calcium-phosphorus balance in the organism by balancing the incorrect calcium-phosphorus ratio.

Recommended intake:

Once a day - dissolve 1 sachet (10.08 g) in 3/4 glass of lukewarm water

Why does the size of the collagen molecule matter?

Typically, collagen consumed orally in the form of a food supplement has a molecular weight of over 3000 Da, but this is reduced during the hydrolysis process. The lower the molecular weight of collagen, the greater its bioavailability. This means that the hydrolysate is more likely to penetrate and further distribute into the body.
