The BeautyMe food supplement is a combination of two active ingredients: fish collagen (hydrolysate) and vitamin C, essential for proper collagen absorption. More than 28 types of collagen have been identified in the human body. The predominant type of collagen in our skin is type I, which accounts for 85-90%.

Why does the size of the collagen molecule matter?

Typically, collagen consumed orally in the form of a food supplement has a molecular weight above 3000 Da, but this is reduced during the hydrolysis process. The lower the molecular weight of collagen, the higher its bioavailability. This means that the hydrolysate is more likely to penetrate and be further distributed into the body.

Has BeautyMe been tested?

All Health Labs Care supplements have been tested for the presence of moulds, yeast, bacteria (including the presence of Escherichia coli, the presence of Staphylococcus aureus, the presence of Salmonella), as well as PAHs (the sum of (Benzo[a]anthracene, Benzo[β]fluoranthene, Chrysene and Benzo[α]pyrene) and Benzo[α]pyrene), as well as heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury). When to take BeautyMe - before, after or with a meal?

Use food supplements according to the information on the packaging and label. It is recommended to take the products after meals to reduce the likelihood of any gastrointestinal discomfort. You can also take the BeautyMe supplement with a meal and add it to smoothies or shakes, for example.

Due to the presence of vitamin C, the consumption of coffee, strong tea, caffeinated drinks and alcohol is not recommended immediately after taking collagen.

Can BeautyMe be mixed with warm meals?

The food supplement BeautyMe should not be added to warm drinks such as coffee, tea, soup, etc. Collagen is a protein and can congeal, losing its properties.

With which other HealthLabs supplements can BeautyMe be combined?

You can use BeautyMe with virtually all HealthLabs supplements. The simultaneous use of BeautyMe supplements with GlowMe is not recommended, due to the doubling of doses of some ingredients (collagen, vitamin C). Pay attention to whether there is too much vitamin C in your diet and in other supplements you take, especially if you are predisposed to kidney stone formation or suffer from kidney stones.

Does the BeautyMe have any flavor?

The BeautyMe has no flavor, only a natural raspberry and passion fruit aroma. Even though it is obtained from fish, it does not taste like fish. That is why you can safely add it e.g. to fruit smoothies.

Does BeautyMe contain any calorie?

Collagen is a protein, so the calorific value is approximately 360 kcal per 100 g, which means that the recommended daily serving (3,8 g) provides approximately 15 kcal.
