Vinegar mother and sediment: Over time, sediment may appear at the bottom of the bottle and vinegar mother at the top - these are natural phenomena.
Properties:
Thanks to a natural, quiet fermentation process of more than two years, this organic apple cider vinegar contains an 'acetic mother'. It consists of yeast, protein strands, enzymes and friendly bacteria.
Live apple cider vinegar also contains acetic acid, to which, according to research, it owes its antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
Apple cider vinegar is the subject of much research. So far, it has been proven that it can support our body:
- in maintaining adequate blood sugar levels
- in PCOS
- in losing weight
- in maintaining normal cholesterol levels
- in reducing the symptoms of type 2 diabetes
- restoring the natural pH level and improving the skin barrier
How is Olini apple cider vinegar made?
It is created through a natural two-stage fermentation of apples. In its first stage, the sugar contained in the fruit is converted into alcohol. In the second, the bacteria responsible for acetic fermentation convert it into acetic acid. This is a much longer stage. The entire process takes place without the addition of sugar and water or artificial additives. Thanks to the long ageing in barrels and the peaceful fermentation, it is mature, clear and has a deep flavour. It also achieves its full nutritional properties. Its acidity is 5%.
Application:
Apple cider vinegar is the multi-tasking superhero of every household. In the past, digestive problems and infections were treated with it, wounds were disinfected and beauty was taken care of. Today, you can use it:
In the kitchen
- in dressings with olive oil, garlic and honey
- in sauces, dips and marinades
- in a homemade energy drink with warm water, ginger, lemon and honey
- for an apple juice-based drink with vinegar and cinnamon
- washing fresh fruit and vegetables - the vinegar and water will wash away microorganisms from the skin
In skin care
- as an anti-dandruff shine rinse made with 1 tablespoon of vinegar and a glass of water
- for rinsing the skin - mixed with water, it acts as a tonic, regulates the pH and helps fight acne
For cleaning
- use vinegar water to clean windows, floors and bathrooms
Vinegar gassing: It can gasify, foam and increase in volume. This is a completely natural process that does not indicate that the vinegar has broken down, but that it is alive, active. This is a common phenomenon with natural, unpasteurised vinegars - so do not shake the bottle before opening. Keep the vinegar firmly cooled and keep it tightly screwed on, then the carbonation reduces.
It is a good idea to keep vinegar in a cool, dry place away from light sources.
