Key ingredients:

The gentle micro-exfoliating essence is suitable for those with skin with dilated pores, combination, oily and normal skin especially with acne-prone skin, blackheads and imperfections.

It is perfect for mature skin or skin with signs of ageing, in need of smoothing and brightening.

Application:

Include the essence in your daily evening skincare routine. Apply to cleansed face, neck and décolleté. Place essence in the palm of your hand and apply with fingertips, lightly patting in.

Do not use micro-exfoliating essence in the same skincare routine with other cosmetics containing acids, retinoids or vitamin C, apply these ingredients at a different time of day or on different days than micro-exfoliating essence.

After application of the essence, you may experience a slight tingling and redness of the skin, which is a normal reaction to the acids used. Wear sun protection during the day during the treatment. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes. Shake before use.

FAQ

Is the smoothing and brightening essence also suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes because the mixture of acids in the essence is mild and with a low concentration of 2.4%. In addition, there is 0.5% lactobionic acid, which is recommended for sensitive skin.

How many times a week can I use the ALGOPRO essence in the micro-exfoliating version?
It is recommended to gradually introduce the essence into your evening skincare routine - every other day to begin with. If there is no prolonged redness and irritation after a week of use, the product can be used daily. Please note that you may experience a slight tingling and redness of the skin immediately after application, which is a natural reaction to the use of acids. Above this, it is also necessary to apply effective sun protection during the day. 

Can the product be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding?
The product is tested and safe, and there are no immediate contraindications for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It is a gentle essence, but it contains acids in the formulation which are not recommended during pregnancy. Please note that before introducing any new skincare product, we recommend performing an allergy test and, if in doubt, contacting your doctor.
