The power of spring flowers encapsulated in a bottle. A natural remedy for infections and improved digestion essential in the home medicine cabinet!

Dandelion syrup - most often referred to as "an ally in the fight against coughs and the first symptoms of infection". It is precisely for this that it is prized in folk medicine and referred to as "dandelion honey". Dandelion syrup - sweet as honey, it hides a wealth of valuable properties.

For whom: Recommended for people of all ages as a natural remedy for coughs, runny noses and the first symptoms of colds. To improve digestion. As a sweet addition to drinks, lemonade, etc.

Colour and taste: The syrup is dark yellow - straw-coloured, tea-like. It tastes sweet, floral and honeyed. The syrup is naturally cloudy, which is due to its high pollen and resin content. Simply shake the bottle and stir the contents before use.

Dandelion flower syrup is made from whole flowers. Based on the natural extract of these plants and not a concentrate, To maintain freshness for longer, the syrup has been pasteurised.

Properties:

Dandelions are those inconspicuous flowers that cover lawns and meadows with a yellow carpet in late April and early May. Although the dandelion is unhappily referred to as a weed, therein lies another weapon to combat the autumn cold. Dandelions contain many vitamins and minerals.

Dandelion flower syrup should become a permanent fixture in your home natural medicine cabinet. The properties of dandelion syrup are incomparably greater than its inconspicuous flowers.

Dandelion roots are a storehouse of inulin, phytosterols and tannins. It also contains magnesium, silicon and potassium.

Dandelion flowers, on the other hand, are considered in folk medicine to be a collection of vitamins, where we can find not only vitamin C, but also A, D and B vitamins, which have a beneficial effect on the nervous system. Naturopaths consider dandelion flowers to be a source of asparagine, an amino acid that stimulates brain function.

Dandelion syrup is valued by our grandmothers and mothers for, among other things, its antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects, which is why they most often use it to treat upper respiratory tract infections, sore throats and coughs.

In summary, according to naturopaths, dandelion syrup has effects:

- antibacterial,

- antiviral,

- anti-inflammatory,

- strengthening the immune system,

- supporting the respiratory system,

- improving digestion.

Application:

Most commonly, for upper respiratory tract infections or sore throats, one teaspoon of dandelion syrup is used, preferably 2-4 times a day. For better digestion, it is recommended to use one teaspoon just before meals.

Additionally, you can add dandelion syrup to:

- lemonade,

- water,

- summer tea (preferably green).

This "dandelion honey" is ideal for a sandwich with white cheese, as well as for pouring over pancakes and waffles.

How to use dandelion syrup in children? Preferably half the adult portion, i.e. half a teaspoon 1-2 times a day.

Before opening, it is worth shaking the bottle; sediment may precipitate at the bottom, which indicates the natural composition of the juice. Once opened, store it in the fridge and consume within a few days.
