Yerba mate is a traditional South American drink prepared from the leaves of the Paraguayan holly plant. The leaves are dried and then aged in special conditions for a period of 2 years to improve the taste. Yerba Mate comes from the best Argentinian plantations.
It has a stimulating effect due to its caffeine content, but does not cause irritation like that contained in coffee. In addition, it contains almost all the vitamins necessary for the body to function properly.

Directions for use:
The traditional way of preparation is to drink yerba mate using a bombilla (drinking tube) and a special vessel (matero). Prepare the water at a temperature of about 75oC - you can use a kitchen thermometer for this. Sprinkle the dried yerba mate from ⅓ to ¾ of the pot's capacity. For beginners, it is recommended to pour a smaller amount of yerba mate for a milder taste. You can also add sugar or honey. Insert the yerba mate drinking tube and pour in the previously prepared water.
Storage: Store in a tightly closed container. Food supplements should be kept out of the reach of small children.
