Bio glitter for body and face - a coated, biodegradable cellulose derivative!

The glitter freckles are used for decoration and are packaged in a gold aluminum tin. These shimmering speckles sit giddily on cheeks, and catch the sun's individual rays, reflecting them joyfully.

The glitter can be glued on with a special glitter glue, but they will also adhere if you smear your skin with lip balm, butter, sticky oil.

Directions for use:

Step 1. Spread cream, oil, lip balm on the skin or apply cosmetic glitter glue.

Step 2. With a clean and dry finger, pick up a little glitter and apply to the skin.

Step 3. Glitter adhered in this way will stick to the skin for several hours.

NOTE: If you are applying glitter to the moving eyelid or close to the eye, make sure it is firmly attached - use a special cosmetic glitter glue. Otherwise, the glitter may ooze out and irritate the delicate mucous membrane of the eye.

Can I apply glitter to my eyelids?
Facegroovin' bio glitters can be used in eye make-up, however, we suggest taking the utmost care when applying the glitter and adhering it using a specialised cosmetic glitter glue to prevent the particles from entering the eye - the glitter can ooze out and irritate the delicate mucous membrane of the eye.

How long do glitter freckles stick to the skin?
How long the glitter lasts on the skin depends on two factors - the choice of product to which you stick the particles and the subsequent reflexive touching and rubbing of the skin. If the glitter is well adhered and left undisturbed, it will stay on the face for several hours.

How do I remove glitter from the skin?
Bio freckles/glitter can easily be washed off the skin with water alone, but it is important for the skin to thoroughly wash off the product to which the glitter has been adhered - for this, it is best to reach for a proven make-up remover and facial cleanser, such as Rose Raspberry Hydrophilic Oil or Apricot Foam.

Are glitters disposable or reusable?
If you are determined enough to gently scrape the glitter off your skin once and back into the packaging, it is theoretically feasible to use it repeatedly. However, it is definitely easier and more hygienic to use glitter once.

Can glitter freckles be allergenic?
Any product applied to the skin can sensitise, especially if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. We encourage you to carry out a so-called sensitisation test in the bend of your elbow before the first application.

Are the bio glitters waterproof?
No, the glitters themselves are not waterproof and wash off easily with water. However, we do not rule out the possibility that there is a waterproof cosmetic glitter adhesive available on the market that could provide a lasting effect even when in contact with water.

Are glitter freckles vegan?
Unfortunately, due to the low content of shellac, a natural resin secreted by insects called maggots, these glitters are not vegan. They are, however, suitable for vegetarians.

Do bio brocades contain mica?
Yes, depending on the colour chosen, the glitters contain a mixture of synthetic and/or mineral mics. The mineral mica used in the production of these glitters is sourced from the USA - its extraction is regulated by national legislation, which sets out rules for maintaining health and safety.

Can I wash my freckles into the sink/bathtub?
Yes, these glitter freckles are fully biodegradable in fresh water, so you can wash them into your sink or bathtub without any problems, and in field conditions also into natural bodies of water - they are harmless to fish and other aquatic organisms.

Can I also use glitter freckles on children?
Yes, glitter can be used on children's skin, but children should only use it under adult supervision. As the glitter particles are small pieces that can be swallowed by children, we also recommend storing the glitter in a place inaccessible to them.
