Have the My Vegan Diet supplements been tested?

How to use My Vegan Diet throughout the day?

The following method of supplementation is suggested:

- VegeMe Day - 1 capsule in the morning, after breakfast

- OmegaMe Vege - 1 capsule in the morning after breakfast

- VegeMe Night - 1 capsule after dinner

Within an hour of taking the supplements, avoid hot liquids and foods, coffee and strong tea, alcohol and fizzy drinks (especially those containing acids, such as cola and pepsi).

What does the 25-(OH) D test recommended with the OmegaMe Vege supplement mean?

The test consists in determining the concentration of the first hydroxy derivative of vitamin D: calcidiol [25(OH)D], which is considered a marker for the body's vitamin D requirements. Knowledge of vitamin D concentration is important to assess the level of vitamin D in the body and the actual demand, and to properly initiate diagnostics.

The test is particularly recommended during combined supplementation with preparations containing vitamin D3.

Can I use OmegaMe Vege if I am taking SmartMe and/or HealMe or another source of plant-based Omega 3 acids?

Yes, it is even recommended. Omega 3s from plant sources are mainly ALA acids, which have different functions in the body than those from animal sources.

ALA (found in SmartMe and HealMe) helps maintain normal blood cholesterol and protects the body from free radicals. As for DHA acids, which you will find in the OmegaMe Vege dietary supplement, they protect the heart and contribute to proper brain function, among other things.

The body needs both Omega 3 acids ALA as well as DHA and EPA in order to function properly.
