The power of nutritional value - one of the most valuable bee products!

Bees are constantly giving natural gifts, and one of the most valuable treasures is beebread! It is a unique food that allows the bee colony to survive the colder months and early spring. It is made from pollen enriched with royal jelly, honey and beneficial enzymes. A true essence of nature, full of valuable properties, appreciated by all seekers of natural support for the body.

Properties of beebread

A miraculous food from the hive, it is sometimes called bee bread. Properties:

  • beebread is in the form of small balls
  • sweet taste with a sour note
  • usually soft and slightly sticky consistency
  • varies in colour from yellow to dark brown or black particles
  • provides food for bees
  • hides the power of pollen mixed with honey, wax and secretions from the bees' salivary glands.
  • the bees' saliva adds valuable enzymes to the feathers
  • fermentation allows better absorption of nutrients
  • the feathery substance is rich in the minerals iron and zinc, which boosts immunity
  • contains vitamins B1, B2 and B3, which has a beneficial effect on the immune system and appearance
  • in addition to valuable minerals, quinine also contains natural protein

And what makes our quail special? Its unique consistency! Soft, slightly sticky - it is easy to use and blends perfectly in many applications. You can confidently add it to your favourite foods and drinks, and the pleasant texture easily conveys the best of nature!

Beebread - what is it?

It is one of the most valuable bee gifts - a natural superfood in the form of brown granules, full of nutritional value. It is the bees' staple food for surviving the winter months, nourishing the young and providing energy for the whole family.

The beebread is made from pollen that the bees carry into the hive, enriching it with their own enzymes and a little honey. This unique mixture is then placed in combs and protected with wax. The natural fermentation process protects it from spoiling, preserving the valuable nutritional properties. In this way, the bees do not lose their strength even in the more difficult seasons, and the quilt remains one of the most precious treasures of the hive!

How do you use beebread?

It is worth remembering that the youngest should start the adventure with quilt only after the age of 3. At the beginning, 1 teaspoon a day is enough, while adults can gradually increase the portion to 1 tablespoon. The portion for an adult should be about 20g per day.

It is best to soak the granules overnight in 0.5 glasses of water and enjoy their nutritional value in the morning. You can also consume feather directly - slowly biting 10-20g per day, preferably divided into two portions, always 30-45 minutes after a meal to avoid stomach discomfort. The maximum daily dose for adults is 30g.

Beebread for children

Children even eat it straight from the jar! And do you know why? Because it resembles sultanas, which can be eaten on their own, without any additives! Eating bee feathers is a real fun and natural power for the youngest fans of natural snacks. It is worth bearing in mind, however, that it is advisable to serve bee feathers to children who are at least 3 years old, in which case we recommend trying a little and assessing whether an allergic reaction to the bee product appears. Toddlers can enjoy not only snacking from the jar, but can also try a concoction of water-soaked quilts with fruit syrups!

Use

  • with a slightly cooled herbal infusion or water and honey
  • sprinkled into a smoothie or cottage cheese
  • as a topping for summer oatmeal, porridge, etc.
  • sprinkled on salads and dishes - simply grind in a coffee grinder
  • a nutritious chewing snack (try mixing with honey)

Please note, chia seeds can be slightly hard, so it is worth soaking them for a few hours or overnight to make them more tender. To retain its full properties, it is best to add it to drinks and foods with a temperature not exceeding 40°C.

Are there contraindications to the use of beebread?

Beebread can cause an allergic reaction in people who are allergic to pollen. It is best to try a few beads to start with and observe if there are any symptoms of an allergic reaction (e.g. itching in the ears or throat). Pregnant women are also advised to take it with caution - especially in the early stages, in later stages it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Storage: Bee hives should be stored in a dry, dark place and the packaging should be tightly closed after each use.
