BasicLab Correcting serum 0.05% pure retinal, phytosphingosine, CICA 30ml
Minimises micro-inflammation, reduces acne and individual imperfections, reduces the appearance of pores, the amount of wrinkles, discolouration, brightens, firms and firms the skin!
Correcting serum 0.05% pure retinal with phytosphingosine and CICA (Centella Asiatica) is dedicated to evening care. It effectively stimulates skin renewal, firms and thickens the skin and reduces the number and depth of wrinkles. Through its antibacterial and sebaceous gland-regulating properties, it effectively cares for skin with acne.
Key ingredients:
- 0.05% pure retinal (vitamin A) with exceptional anti-aging action noticeably smooths the skin, minimises the appearance of pores and wrinkles. It stimulates cell renewal, speeding up regeneration processes and, thanks to its antibacterial and normalising action, reduces imperfections. It is the ideal concentration for the beginning of the retinal adventure!
- Phytosphingosine regenerates the hydrolipidic barrier, the condition of which determines adequate hydration and resistance of the skin to external factors. The ingredient reduces redness and micro-inflammation, thus limiting the side effects of retinal.
- CICA (Centella Asiatica: asiaticoside, madecassoside and extract), through its unique soothing properties, facilitates the building of tolerance to retinoids. Promotes skin regeneration, as does phytosphingosine, alleviating the potentially irritating effects of vitamin A in the early days of the serum adventure. Promotes the renewal of skin affected by acne and acne-induced hyperpigmentation, while restoring optimal hydration levels.
- Hydroxystearic acid stimulates collagen synthesis, thus enhancing both retinal's anti-wrinkle and hyperpigmentation-reducing effects.
- Stable vitamin C in ethyl form (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) is a highly effective ingredient that inhibits the synthesis of melanin responsible for the formation of discolouration, penetrating deep into the epidermis, brightening it and giving it a healthy colour. It does not cause irritation and instead soothes micro-inflammatory lesions.
Suitable for skin:
- all types, including sensitive,
- with signs of ageing: wrinkles, fine lines,
- with acne vulgaris and rosacea,
- in need of tightening, firming,

- skin radiance,
- smoothed epidermal structure,
- minimised micro-inflammation,
- reduced visibility of pores, wrinkles, discolouration,
- reduced acne and individual imperfections.
Directions for use:
Apply a small amount of serum in the evening to cleansed and dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
It is recommended to wash hands thoroughly after product application.
Use the serum alone the first time to assess the skin's reaction. Ultimately, about 30-40 minutes after applying retinal, you can apply any serum and/or cream. Cosmetics based on ceramides, trehalose and ectoin are particularly recommended here.
HOW TO CARRY OUT THE RETINAL TREATMENT?
Start with a lower concentration of retinal (e.g. 0.05%), either as a first treatment or after a longer break. Apply the serum every fourth evening for the first two weeks. If there are no side effects during this period, you can reduce the interval between applications by 1 day after each completed two weeks of treatment as follows:
1-2 week - application every 4th-5th evening
3-4 week - application every 3-4. evenings
5-6 week - apply every 2-3. evenings
At this stage, you will get to the point where the retinal serum is already applied 4 times a week. Only when you are already tolerating the product well at this frequency of use (not before!), can you start using the next concentration, in this case 0.07%. To do this, take a 3-day break and repeat the above regimen with the serum with 0.07% vitamin A.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- When using retinoids, apply very high sun protection daily, e.g. a light cream or light protective emulsion SPF 50+ and avoid sun exposure. It is acceptable to use retinal all year round, but before any planned increased sun exposure, stop using it completely about four weeks beforehand.
- During the first few weeks of use, redness, dryness or irritation of the skin may be observed, as well as flakiness - this is the result of the skin building up a tolerance to this active substance. In this case, moisturising, nourishing and hydro-lipid barrier-rebuilding products should be used in addition.
- Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.
- Does not contain fragrances. The colour of the product is due to the use of pure retinal.
- The formula has been formulated to minimise the risk of allergic reactions.
WARNINGS:
- Due to the retinal content, the product should not be used by pregnant women. Use during breastfeeding should be consulted with a healthcare professional.
- The serum may stain light-coloured bedding and clothing. It is recommended to protect the pillow and, if stains appear, to use a stain remover. Retinal is responsible for the colour of the cosmetic.
Store in a dry and shaded place at room temperature.
